Research Intern (2011-present). Mathematics Department, Ohio University.
Researched and presented topics related to the yeast cell cycle, vector-borne diseases, and Drosophila embryogenesis for a group of mathematicians working on modeling biological functions. Second author of manuscript currently in review process.
Research Assistant (2014-present). Department of Biological Sciences, Ohio University. Examined the function of CLIC in the phosphoregulation of Moesin in Drosophila rhabdomere formation. Honors thesis research.
Research Assistant (2014-present). Department of Biomedical Sciences, Ohio University. Performed lab tests to investigate a new route of diagnosing ventilator-associated pneumonia involving ventilation filters and PCR, as well as preliminary procedures for 16S 1etagenomics sequencing.
