Dr. Gustavo Leone, Professor, Department of Molecular Virology, Immunology and Medical Genetics, Klotz Chair in Cancer Research, Director, Solid Tumor Biology Program, Associate Director for Basic Research, Comprehensive Cancer Center, Ohio State University, will be presenting a Special Seminar on Tuesday, April 9, 2013 at 4:00pm in the Rieveschl Auditorium of the Vontz Center. Dr. Leone studies how the Rb & E2F pathway integrates signals from other pathways to control cellular proliferation during normal development and cancer. A second aspect of Dr. Leone’s research seeks to identify relevant signaling pathways in the tumor microenvironment and understand how they impact cancer initiation and progression. The seminar is entitled “Signaling in the Tumor Microenvironment: from Pten to the Rest of the Genome and Why it Matters in Breast Cancer”. We hope you will be able to attend. Please see the attached flyer for details. |
