|BRCA1 and other DNA Double-Strand Break Repair Proteins|
|Dr. Jeffrey Parvin will be presenting the Cancer Biology Seminar on Thursday,
November 14, 2013 at 12:00 Noon in the Rieveschl Auditorium of the Vontz
Center for Molecular Studies. Dr. Parvin's research focuses on breast cancer
etiology through molecular, biochemical, and systems biology approaches.
Recent advances made by Dr. Parvin's laboratory have unveiled important
mechanisms by which the breast cancer susceptibility gene BRCA1 functions to
maintain genomic stability and guard against breast cancer. Dr. Parvin's
seminar is titled "BRCA1 and other DNA Double-Strand Break Repair Proteins".
