|The Cancer Biology Seminar Series will be hosting Dr. Nissim Hay,
Distinguished UIC Professor, Department of Biochemistry and Molecular
Genetics with the University of Illinois this Thursday, September 18, 2014,
from Noon to 1pm in the Rieveschl Auditorium at the Vontz Center for
Molecular Studies. Dr. Hay will be presenting “The Role of Akt Isoforms in
Cancer and Diabetes: Lessons from Akt KO Mice”. Dr. Hay is a noted leader
in Akt/mTOR regulation of tumor metabolism.
